SALT & STONE is an L.A. unisex skin and body care brand founded in 2017 by former professional snowboarder and casual surfer Nima Jalali. Traveling the world and experiencing a broad range of outdoor environments and conditions led him to understand their effects and instilled in him the importance of protection. His personal demand for products (like chemical-free sunscreens and aluminum-free deodorants) that aligned with his natural lifestyle became a catalyst for the inception of Salt & Stone. It therefore focuses in extensive research of natural, organic, cruelty-free ingredients, taking no shortcuts. They go the extra mile when developing each formula, all ingredients are grown and produced in ethical and sustainable ways, without the use of pesticides, and they never use artificial fragrances, sulfates, silicones, petrochemicals, parabens, phthalates or GMOs. Green and Clean is their moto. All of the packaging is both sleek looking and made from post consumer recycled materials. Their mission is to create safe products that are extremely effective and simply superior to the usual natural skin care. All that with the West Coast effortlessness breezing in the background.
